Join us for a week of climate themed activities at Magna Fest: Climate vs Archaeology from Saturday, May 24th to Wednesday, May 28th. Take part in guided tours, immerse yourself in storytelling, engage in interactive activities, and try hands on experiences like pottery-making, all while discovering how climate change affects archaeology.

What to Expect during the Week:

• Embark on a hands-on journey as you explore how does climate change affect objects buried underground? Discover the impact on archaeology with our engaging timeline activity!

• Digging into the past on our accessible sensory projector, OMI. See if you can find the artefacts hidden beneath the soil!

• Learn more about our research into climate change and archaeology.

• Add your own personalised link to our giant paperchain as part of a collaborative effort to celebrate our 2025 event theme, ‘Earth’.

• Contribute to our giant temperature weaving station and help us chart how the temperature at Magna Fort changes each day. See how the climate affects the world around us in real-time!
