This event invites you to think like an archaeologist, as you handle a selection of pottery from our collection, getting close to the detail of these ancient artefacts. Through expert-led, hands-on activities, you will learn how researchers use different techniques to record and draw the pottery sherds, fragments, and vessels we excavate here at The Vindolanda Trust – from Samian Ware to Mortarium.
