Night at the Museum: Virtual Sleepover

As the museum closes for winter, we’re bringing the Roman Army Museum experience directly to your home with this virtual sleepover!

Set up camp with our new mascot, Aquila, and dive into the life of a Roman soldier. Your adventure includes fun activities like designing your own shield, practicing marching drills, and exploring ancient artefacts from the Vindolanda Trust collection. This virtual experience is perfect for families looking to learn and have fun together!

You will get a follow-along video, available to watch online. A link will be sent out to all those signed up by 23rd January 2025. This video will premiere at 4pm on Friday 24th January and will be available to watch until 4pm on Friday 7th February. Running time is approx. 45 minutes.

To accompany your follow-along video you can choose either:
£3: A digital activity pack, which includes information and instructions for all of our activities that you can download at home. This will be sent to you via email after 5pm on the 20th January, 2025.
OR
£10: A physical activity book and all the craft materials needed (includes free postage, but hurry—limited availability!). If wish to purchase a physical pack to join us for the premier, please order by 10pm on the 16th January, 2025. These are limited availability, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!
