Join us for a free, fun, immersive experience unique to the Roman Army Museum!

At this family-friendly event, you can get dressed up in some Roman finery and meet our very own Emperor Ted and his loyal guarding solider. Joined by a member of the Ermine Street Guard, you can see in detail what an auxiliary solider would have looked like on the Roman frontier.

Strike a majestic pose for a selfie and take your printed photo home with you to show off to friends and family. Part of our Teddy Bears Picnic throughout April, this event gives you a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
