The Vindolanda Trust is delighted to offer the holiday experience of a lifetime. Accommodation in the newly refurbished Carvoran House & Cottage that includes exclusive places on our excavations at the adjacent Magna Roman Fort.

**Bookings open on 24th March 2026 at 10am and are linked to Magna excavation periods 6-12**

Carvoran Cottage (Two Excavation Places, Sleeps up to Three)

Cost: £2000

Non-refundable deposit £275 (to be paid on booking)

Excavate & Stay at Carvoran Cottage will include:

Two weeks excavations for two named people
Self-catered accommodation adjacent to the Roman Army Museum for up to three people, arrival on the Sunday before excavation begins and check out on the Saturday after excavation at 10am
Shared garden access
An Excavation T-shirt for each excavator

To help us maintain a comfortable environment for all guests, this accommodation is pet-free

Carvoran House (Four Excavation Places, Sleeps up to Six)

Cost: £4000

Non-refundable deposit £275 (to be paid on booking)

Excavate & Stay at Carvoran House will include:

Two weeks excavations for four named people
Self-catered accommodation adjacent to the Roman Army Museum for up to six people, arrival on the Sunday before excavation begins and check out on the Saturday after the excavations end at 10am
